    3. Eastern Chronicle, New Glasgow, N.S.,10 Dec 1942: YOUNGEST N.S. PILOT OFFICER A New Glasgow Boy "Nothing runs so quickly as the years" was a quotation frocibly brought to mind when John Christison arrived home on Sunday night with his "wings" and a commission as Pilot Officer. Surely it was only yesterday that John would come into this office just a bright and a nice youngster going to school! We are proud of John as we are proud of all the youngsters who preceded him and are following him in this greatest of ventures. John's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Christinson accompanied by their son Scott, Mrs. Eva Munro and Mrs. Schrader motored to Moncton, where John graduated from the Service Training School and of the graduating class John was the second youngest and the youngest pilot in Nova Scotia. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx MILITARY PROMOTIONS Lieut.
