A researching friend of mine is trying to find an obituary for the subject. Adelia ( Ryan ) MacDonald was the daughter of Joseph Ryan and Alma Bass of Grand Manan. She was married to Anthony D. MacDonald and they lived in Port Hawkesbury, NS. They had 2 children named Pius and Adell/Odell. Adelia died in 1975, in Antigonish, NS. It is believed that she was buried in Saint Joseph's Cemetery in Port Hawkesbury, NS. Her name could have been Mary Adelia rather than only Adelia. Her mother died when she was very young and she was was raised by her father's parents. Her father, Joseph Ryan remarried to Jessie MacIntyre.
