There are two addresses for Canadian census -- We have the 1901, 1906 (three western provinces) and 1911 online Please add the following to the address given below http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/ Should there be any questions - do not be afraid to ask. Also, it is quite safe to sign in with your email -- these are protected. Only Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan to finish. Muriel M. Hi all, I am interested in finding more information regarding Mary BURRIS wife of William BURRIS/BURROWS. She was born about 1827 (not sure where). I found a record of death for their daughter Clementine (Burris) MOORE. It states parents names as William BURROWS and Mary KEHOE. Another daughter Jemima's record of death states her father's name as Matthew GOODE. I have found the family in the 1871(Old Barns), 1881,1891 and 1901 census in Brookfield. William and Mary had the following children: Edward, b. 1849 Isabella, b. 1854 Clementine, b. 1857 Rebecca Ellen, b. 1859 - my husband's line Louis, b. 1862 Jemima, b. 1862 Havelock, b. 1878 Any help with this family would be most appreciated. Many thanks in advance. Cindy Donovan

Good Morning Listers: I hope this helps somebody. The first week of trying to access the new NSARM Vital Statistics was very, very disappointing. Twice, I tried using new downloads of Viewpoint. Finally, I downloaded the newest free version 2.0.0.3 of Firefox and then loaded Viewpoint for the third time. It now works quickly and perfectly now except for the annoying sign in at the "I AGREE" box. Now, I'm a happy camper finding lots of V S I didn't have before Joan Wallace Ottawa Searching my G-GPs Atkinson, Bourinot, Cummins, Dravis, Marshall, Moseley, Moss, Tilton & Tout in NS & NB

Or, perhaps, the highly non HTML compliant nature of all versions of IE, and the unfortunately common tailoring of many websites to cater to IE. John
Hi All: As some of you may have noticed, the Terms and Conditions mechanism associated with the NS Vitals Database has been driving me up a tree. The reason is that, to search for SLAUENWHITE's, I usually retrive them in groups; e.g., all people whose surname begins with SLAU and whose first name begins with W, who died in Halifax County, and then work down the list of people displayed. What had been happening is that, after viewing something like the third or fourth name on the list, when I hit the view button, the system would hang. Also, if I wanted to switch to, for example, all such persons whose first name began with S, I would have to start all over again, lest the query produce a bogus result. The only reasonable solution to this problem seemed to be to go back and start all over again, thus the necessity to accept the Terms and Conditions every five or ten minutes. But I have made a discovery. My default web browser is Firefox V2.0 and about four days ago, I decided to try an experiment. Instead of using Firefox, I switched to Internet Explorer, V7.0 for accessing the Vitals Database. Since that time, I have experienced the following: a. No retrievals have hung b. I can go for long periods of time and not have to go back and start all over again c. Switching names in queries does not cause me to have to restart d. I have seen no bogus results Now it's possible that either I am hallucinating, or there is some other factor at work here that I cannot fathom. But switching from Firefox V2.0 to IE V7.0 seems to have solved most of the problems I was experiencing. PS. I know nothing of Firefox and IE internals, but if I had to guess, it would be that the root of the problems have to do with the way Firefox handles a secure connection. -----Bob H-----
