Muriel, Roll Call can be helpful in finding out if anyone has any of your names or is researching one of your surnames in your area of interest. People tend to go with their main line names, so don't often give much data on lateral names - which in turn could be your main line. Some of my folk won't be in the 1911 census as they had died and in a few cases several of their children had moved out of Canada. A Roll Call can help to re-connect these lines. Twice on other lists, posters had put forth two lateral names from my Mum's side. As both were rather unusal surnames, I made contact immediately. One was a 2nd cousin. Friday Morning October 27, 1933...Yarmouth Telegram, Yarmouth, N.S. CHARLES C. CARTY, JR. The remains of Charles C. Carty, Jr., who died at Malden, Mass., Friday, October 20, of pneumonia , aged 25 years, arrived in Yarmouth, Tuesday morning, accompanied by his sister, Miss Beatrice Carty. The funeral took place in the afternoon at the family lot in Mountain Cemetery. Mr. Carty was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Carty, of Malden, Mass., and a grandson of the late Capt. and Mrs. Charles Carty, Yarmouth.
