    3. Thank you very much for your suggestion Don. I am at a standstill with Sarah Jane CRAFT. She has been my brick wall for a number of years. I will try New Brunswick. Many thanks Susan -----Original Message----- From: Ds20065@aol.com [mailto:Ds20065@aol.com] Sent: Saturday, 12 May 2007 3:30 p.m. To: greenleas@xtra.co.nz; muriel_davidson@sympatico.ca; maxstap@accesswave.ca; NOVA-SCOTIA-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [NS-L] Re : Roll Call Susan; You might want to check in New Brunswick. There were and likely still are CRAFT families in the Saint John area. If you check with the N.B. Archives on-line web site, you just might hit pay dirt. Understand that at one time, New Brunswick was considered Nova Scotia so that might be why you are getting Nova Scotia as place of birth. I have a eight (8) CRAFT family members in my data base but am unable to make that final connection to my family tree at the moment. Don

    3. Hi Muriel - a good suggestion and automatedgenealogy is a great site. However, my husband's great grandmother, Sarah Jane CRAFT was born around 1844 and I have no idea as to which province I should check. In the 1871 USA census she is listed as emigrating to the US in 1860, and I have found her and her husband and children in 1871 and subsequent census in Maine. Her maiden surname I have ascertained from her 1922 obituary, but in all places her place of birth is just Nova Scotia. I am hoping that the roll call might help me find others on the list who might have CRAFT as a side branch or twig, or who might be able to help me in my search for Sarah Jane. 2. Jared Handspicker
    3. To those who know me, I rarely post during a "roll call event". However, as I'm duty bound to produce a Handspiker Family book in celebration of the 225th Loyalist Anniversary next year, I'm hoping any of you who have Handspiker connections in your Nova Scotia and New Brunswick (Hanselpacker) roots would help me fill in any existing holes. They are FAR too numerous to mention, and chances are I can do as much for your holes in these lines, as well. Should you have ANY Handspiker or Hanselpacker connections in your family lines, I'd be most interested in the connecting lines. Many Thanks Jared ------------------------ Jared "Jed" Handspicker jedh@jedh.com
