If anyone has access to the Harold CD and can check an Obituary for a Cora M Joudrey of Lunenburg County the date of death is incertain but I believe March of 1991 (I was only around 9 or 10 when she died) Thanks to whoever can help Ryan No virus found in this outgoing message. Hi Joanne, According to "Place-Names and Places of Nova Scotia" (http://www.gov.ns.ca/nsarm/cap/places/) page 193: "Ecum Secum is located around Ecum Secum Inlet about twenty miles north-east of Sheet Harbour. The Indians name was Agwasaagunk or Megwasaagunk, "a red house" or "a red bank". The origin of the name "Ecum Secum" is certain. An 1809 the variation was "Ekemsagen". An 1813 variation was "Ekemsikam" and by 1845, "Ecum Secum" was the spelling used." McDonald: Loyalists who first settled in Shelburne County then moved to Harrigan Cove, Halifax County and stretched to Liscomb Mills, Guysborough County. 3. Fleet and Baker families of Ecum Secum, Halifax and Guysborough County and Marie Joseph, Guysborough County. 4.
