I am hoping someone can help me. In the Vita Stats I am searching for the marriage of James H. Naugle and Minnie Blanford Romkey who married in 1904. When I click to "View" it shows the marriage is on page 106 - BUT - when it comes up it shows page 105. Would anyone have a marriage on page 106 and if so perhaps they could give me a reference name to access this page. Much appreciated. Judy Lancaster
Anyone out there exploring these names? david

This list was generated from "Recipients of the General Service Medal," by Barbara M. Wilson, Spink & Sons Ltd. London 1975. The complete story of their trip from Halifax to Montreal by the Intercolonial, and Montreal to Ottawa by the Grand Trunk is told in my book, but I could find no record of their trip by CPR to Swift Current SK. Bear in mind, a few men did not make it all the way, including a few unnamed individuals who were jailed in Truro NS for their drunken behaviour. A Adams, Charles H. Cpl. During the research for my book "Built For War: Canada's Intercolonial Railway" I compiled a list of the names of the men who fought with the Halifax Provisional Battalion during the Northwest Rebellion 1885. These men took the Intercolonial from Halifax to Montreal. I have just now found the lists again. Would you like me to post it here? It is in alphabetical order with ranks, and might prove useful. I can post it in several short lists. I found an old note written by Sharon dated 23 Mar 2002. I know it's old but just maybe. As you can see I don't throw much away. Body of note follows. I have a Donald McPhee that was born in Kilmalie around 1760 he married Ann McMillan born 17 Nov 1773 John McMillan and Janet Cameron. Donald and Ann married about 1795, came to Canada and settled in Upper Canada 1803 at Glengarry. Trying to find the parents of Donald. I have Ann's parents but not grandparents. In the last month I have found DNA matches to three familles, McMillan, Tanner and Starbuck. They match my James McPhee born 1758 in Kilmuir, Inverness-shire, Scotland All markers except marker # 388 McPhee is 15 and the rest are 13. I have a feeling that somewhere back in the 1300/1400's there is a connection. Can anyone help? Thanks, Bill Mc _wmcphee@aol.com_ (mailto:wmcphee@aol.com) ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
