William J. Stewart was born in Nova Scotia, Canada about 1860 and died in Michigan, U.S.A. after 1882. He married Emma Fisher in Saganaw, Michigan, U.S.A. about 1881. Emma was born in Michigan, U.S.A. in 1863. They had at least one son, Lew A. Stewart, who was born in 1882 in Saganaw, Michigan, U.S.A. Who were William J. Stewart's parents and siblings?
George, Thanks for this. If this Charles Kehoe is my Charles T. Kehoe whose wife was Catherine Margaret Tobin then this child was previously unknown to me. The 1911 census shows a gap between their two youngest children, born in April 1903 and December 1908 respectively. I will look at the 1907 and 1908 Halifax City directory but I believe that my Charles was the only Kehoe of that name in the city at that time. At the moment, I am trying to learn more about Wendell Anderson who served during the Second World War. It is thought that he might have served with the US Army. He is supposed to have been KIA. On the National WWII Memorial website ( http://www.wwiimemorial.com/ ), there are a few Wendell Andersons listed. Is one of them the one I am looking for? Here is what they have on him. Wendell L. Anderson ID: 31363638 Entered the Service From: Massachusetts Rank: Private Service: U.S. Army, 38th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division Died: Monday, June 12, 1944 Buried at: Normandy American Cemetery Location: Colleville-sur-Mer, France Plot: J Row: 4 Grave: 6 Awards: Purple Heart Looking forward hearing from anyone related to or who knew of Wendell.
