Although I don't have the children of George Horne, I have a connection to the Jacob HORNE genealogy in my search for Alexander Forsyth, apparently a good friend or relative of Jacob Horne [father of George Horne] of that place. Below is the Will [1815] of Jacob Horne, in case you don't have it, in which are listed his children, including George Horne, and witnessed by Alexander Forsyth and William Anderson [Elizabeth Forsyth, a dau. of Alexander Forsyth, m. 1789 Alexander Anderson]. AMOS WHITE NORTH NOEL ROAD, Jan. 2 - The death occurred on Monday, December 27 at his home, North Noel Road, of Amos White, at the age of 75 years. Surviving are his wife, one son, Braiden, at home, and three daughters, Mrs. T.R. Fuller, Somerville, Mass.; Florence, Boston, Mass.; and Ida, also in Massachusetts. The funeral service was held at the Presbyterian Church, Kennetcook, conducted by Rev. H.S. Haslam, Noel, with interment in Kennetcook cemetery.

May 28, 1982, Pawtucket Times, Pawtucket, Rhode Island Edna C. Smith, 50 Year School Teacher: CUMBERLAND- Edna C. Smith, age 96, of 2830 Mendon Road, died Thursday. She was the daughter of the late Harvey and Margaret (Sproull) Smith. Born in Nova Scotia, she and her sister lived at the home of her sister-in-law. She was a teacher in Woonsocket schools for 50 years before retiring from the Harris School Faculty in 1955. She was a member of the Woonsocket Teachers Guild and the Rhode Island Teachers Association. She was one of the oldest members of First Baptist Church, Woonsocket. Her sister, Isabelle, and sister-in-law Margaret, are her only immediate survivors. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at home. I am trying to find additional information about Phineas (Phinheas) ARNOLD He is on the muster roll at Digby, in 1784. He married Jenny ARCHIBALD and I have 3 children listed - Sarah, Rebecca and Mary. They were baptized in Trinity Anglican Church. I would like to find out where Phineas was from, as well as his birth and death dates. I show his birth as 1761. Of course any additional information at all would be greatly appreciated. Nancy: I could find no reference in either the basic History of Annapolis County by William A. Calnek (my great grandfather) or in Savary's Supplement thereto. The Wilmot Township Book published in 2002, has a reference on page 14: "George Bowlby married 5 July 1804 Martha McMasters by Rev. John Wisnall" There is also a reference on page 83 to "James McMaster" having an earmark which is similar to a cattle brand. Thats all I could find. According to Charles' death certificate, he died 04 September 1946. Born 18 November 1890, the son of William Clancey and Ellen McGrath. He married 16 August 1909 Helen Moriarity, the daughter of Edward and Florence Moriarity. There is an obituary recorded on the Herald CD of a Mrs. C.R. Clancey on 16 March 1963. Could be Helen. On 27th of January 1999, the Herald carried an obit for Ida Merle Killoran, one of Charles and Helen's daugthers. Lists her brothers and sisters. Hope this helps.
