Aileen, I couldn't find any SWANE or SWAIN in IGI batches for North Muskham and there was no record for a Jane SWANE / SWAIN on Family Search born 1700 - 1740 in Nottingham. What is the source of your data? You don't just pick a name, date and location out of the air without some other references or clues. Peter

Aileen, You sent two conflicting messages. a) I have Wolverhampton St.Peters marriages 1538 - 1837 Jane Swane married 23 aug 1731 to Osbiston James Lic. of Wellington in this parish b) I am trying to find parents and family of Jane Swain/Swane Birth 1719 in North Muskham, Nottinghamshire. Firstly, if she married in 1731, she would only be 12, if born in 1719. Secondly, I suspect you should be looking in Wolverhampton, which is in Staffordshire. Peter
