    3. Thank you Nivard, Well it would be a dull world if were were all the same! I no longer have to "go and find an Alt code" because the list is printed and stuck on the side of my hard drive. I was not particularly expecting you to reply but appreciate that you did. I hope the wedding went well. We have had great fun at our children's weddings. All our 3 daughters had D-I-Y weddings as they were all very keen not to waste money - and we all joined in according to our particular skills (Cost <£300 for EVERYTHING for the first in Bury, Lancs in 2002, and about €1000 euros for the last in Huelva, Spain in 2006) . Our son's wedding was more classic in that it was predominantly "out-sourced" and while modest by national standards was hugely more costly than the others. (They are about to have their 2nd child next month) We enjoyed them all notwithstanding! I hope you and your family all had a wonderful time, and send our best wishes to your daughter and new son-in-law. I use it a lot, daily, but that is because I have an American keyboard ($ but no £) and no accents - and I live in France which uses them lavishly. In addition it offers Greek letters - good for maths! and ↓→ and ↑ which can be useful in simple trees. > Also superscript numbers - useful for footnotes etc ² and symbols such as ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ which can be used for identification > > I used quite a lot when writing my Huguenot family history > > Have fun! > > Jean Wood Notts Surname List http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~hughw/notts.html -----! -------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, pleas! e send a n email to NOTTSGEN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    3. Hi Jean Thank you and yes indeed, a 100% percent perfect day, just as my daughter wished for, including perfect sunny weather and a beautiful sunset over the sea to finish it off, as though made to order She did the vast majority of the organisation, made all the table decorations, decorated the cake etc It was a small affair compared to some but was the nicest I have ever been to (granted I am slightly biased :-) It was a marvellous show of what can be done without taking out a second mortgage Every penny was saved up before the event, I couldn't be prouder of her and her new hubby Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 08/10/2013 09:09, Jean WOOD wrote: > Thank you Nivard, > > Well it would be a dull world if were were all the same! > > I no longer have to "go and find an Alt code" because the list is printed and stuck on the side of my hard drive. > > I was not particularly expecting you to reply but appreciate that you did. > > I hope the wedding went well.
