Note in the baptism register for Grove Notts We the undersigned do solemnly declare that we remember and were present when Ellen the daughter and John the son of Fergus & Millicent PARK were publicly baptised in the Parish Church of Grove by Revd Abraham YOULE the rector. Ellen was born in August 1930 and John was born in Dec 1832 signed by Fergus William PARK, Joseph DIXON, Anne SCANDRETH ?, John HILL, Ann HILL The foregoing affirmation was made in consequence of the Baptisms of Ellen & John PARK having been omitted to be entered in the Register Book of this parish of Grove at the time when they wer baptised Signed by C POSTLETHWAITE rector of Grove on 9 Feb 1845 I hope this helps someone John Mellors
