Thanks Dai, David and Peter for getting back to me on this. The baptism date I gave is that of William Crampton; however, I do not think William Smith Coulby (Colby) is the same person as William Crampton Coulby. I picked up the wrong date years ago. A William Crampton Colby married Ann Martin in 1840 in Burton St. Joyce. And William Smith Colby married Abigail Genever 08/08/1846 Nottingham St. Pauls. Both on NFHS marriage disc. I have done what I should have done years ago and what Peter suggested and get the certificate. i ordered it today. Thanks for the help Carol
