    3. I agree with comments of dissatisfaction with the new Ancestry layout. I have always found it easier to access the 1841 - 1891 Census via TNA - takes you straight to the search page for whichever year you select: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/census/ (You have to scroll down the page for the list). For 1901 you have to select another census and use the breadcrumb menu to select "UK Census Collection" and then scroll down the page for the list. (The link from the above page for 1901 otherwise takes you to 1901censusonline.com: pay-to-view). To get back to the old search, there is a linked-message on the right, just below the log-in box: "Switch back to old search experience". If people use it often enough they might get the message!! UK BMD records are here: http://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd.aspx UK migration: http://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/rectype/default.aspx?rt=40 UK Military: http://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/rectype/default.aspx?rt=39 (On the last two pages, make sure to check the box "Only show results from the UK & Ireland"). Good luck!! As one who had very limited interest in US content (and doesn't have a subscription) I was perplexed to be presented with a collection of default links from My Quick Links that are almost exclusively to US resources. OK, I can modify it but have to scramble around to find the URLs ! Not simply choose from various options. Not surprisingly, I wanted a link to the UK BMD Collection. Luckily, I happened to have one in my browser favourites or I would be still looking for the URL. Still haven't found one for the UK Military Collection or UK Emigration Collection.
