    3. Good morning, Do any of you folks know how many, if any, of the American men who worked in the oilfields in EAKRING during WWII stayed in the UK? These men joined the Civilian Technical Corps (Part of the Air Ministry at that time) prior to the USA being involved with WWII. Forgotten heroes of WWII! Thank you. Veronica

    2. Hi, I grew up in Eakring and there is a memorial to the men and the oilfield in Dukes Wood which is just outside Eakring.??
