David, You can get out of the "new" format and go back to the familiar, old, and in my opinion, better format. Trouble is that I've already done it weeks ago so can't tell you how to do it as I now only access Ancestry in the previous format. Check out the home page and I'm sure that there is something there that enables you to go back to the old format.
