Hi There, Has anyone got access to a Whites directory for the period 1898 -1900 please? One of my ancestors was born there in 1898 but on the birth certificate there is no mention of the number of the house, only West Street. I know that part of West Street in Retford is still standing so I was hoping I could identify the number then take a visit to view it.(If indeed it is still standing!)
