    2. Jenny White
    3. Hello List, I wonder if anyone has access to Finningley Parish Records they would kindly look something up for me. BEEVERS I am trying to find all the children of Thomas BEEVERS and Mary between 1852 and approx 1866. I think Thomas BEEVERS married Mary WILKINSON in the last quarter of 1852. I think their first child was born around the same time in 1852. Her name was Fanny BEEVERS. I am trying to find the rest of the children for this couple, I think there may have been the following but I am not sure. Thomas James Walter William I believe Mary died sometime in 1866 and her husband Thomas BEEVERS abt 1868. HOLDGATE I am trying to find a marriage for a Francis HOLDGATE to Hannah. They had a son George baptised in 1872. I am interested to find out who Hannah was before she married. Many thanks in advance for any help you are able to provide. Jenny

    2. John Frearson
    3. I am trying to find the maiden name for three sister. They are all in the Will [dated 2 November 1843] of Joseph FREARSON [1793 - 27 November 1843] of Nottingham Park [sometime Councillor and Alderman of Nottingham] - Lace Manufacturer. Three sisters are named: Mary Ann [née ????] FREARSON - wife of Joseph - beneficiary and executor Harriett [née ????] BROOKFIELD - "sister of my wife" - beneficiary Matilda [née ????] SCOTT - "sister of my wife" - beneficiary Do these names ring any bells with anyone. Joseph was a Baptist so their marriages may have been in a non-conformist tradition. They are a little early to pick up conclusively in the Censuses. For information the other names in the Will are given below - most [but not all are "known" and identified] - some may help someone. Henry FREARSON - brother - of Arno Vale - beneficiary and executor ["known" - another Nottingham Councillor] Smith FOWLER - Nottingham - Grocer - executor Henry Frearson CLARKE - nephew - Nottingham - Draper ["known" - son of Ann Frearson and William Clarke] - beneficiary and executor Hannah Frearson [née CLARKE] EYRE - niece - widow of George EYRE - [daughter of Ann Frearson and William Clarke] - beneficiary ["known"] Maria Frearson CLARKE - niece - [daughter of Ann Frearson and William Clarke] - beneficiary ["known"] Matilda Frearson [née CLARKE] SMITH - niece - [daughter of Ann Frearson and William Clarke] wife of Edward SMITH of Birmingham - beneficiary ["known"] [Their daughter Lucy would later marry George [1st Viscount] YOUNGER Mary Ann - wife of Thomas MARSHALL - of Nottingham - Lace Manufacturer. Ann WEBSTER [Miss] - from whom he bought a "dwelling house, warehouse, and hereditments" on Plumtre Street and Stoney Street, Nottingham for £1400 - now occupied by Thomas MARSHALL [as above?] who occupied the said dwelling [with option to buy]. Booth EDDISON - Surgeon - witness. The Will was at York and quite large sums were involved. I can provide more details as required. John Frearson
