Hi, we had another visit yesterday to the excellent Southwell Workhouse. We were also fortunate in arriving just in time to join the 'Welcome Tour' which was about 30 mins long, but took you into parts of the Workhouse building that are not on the general tour. This was most interesting and if you are thinking of visiting this summer, do check to see if these 'welcome tours' are running - well worth the extra time. Greet House - my grandfather William Fairburn was a resident of Greet House for a time, and just wonder if anyone has any information on Greet House at all? Regards, Lin
