There is a monumental wooden wall structure at the above site, in a part of the building that's about to be demolished. The structure was made by the carpenters of Nottingham Corporation Tramways. Negotiations are in place to remove it to a safe place, and perhaps have it displayed in a museum somewhere. It mainly consists of four panels, each with a bank of portraits, eight across and seven down, in total 224 individuals. These are men in uniform who worked for Nottingham Corporation Tramways, and below the portraits are corresponding panels of their names.
