Hi, My branch of the READ family (William READ born 1820) was born in Balderton, NOTTINGHAM and then moved to Manchester, LANCASHIRE where he married Sarah BARNETT in 1845 in Eccles. They had five children (one died) before 1855 when William emigrated to Australia. Sarah and children followed in 1857. They had a further four children and eventually settled in the Seville area.
