    3. John and all. (John - I think we had some contact in my FreeBMD transcribing days). I assume that the nine are Sarah, Mary, Samuel, William, John, Joseph, Samuel, Hannah and Hannah. I have not been pursuing this line for some years so have had to refer to my files. I note that I was in contact in 2001 with Lawrence Annable in Canada. He said that he had found a patron submitted baptism record for Sarah STAFFORD in the IGI as the illegitimate child of Nancy STAFFORD father not specified at Arnold on 27 Apr 1834; he assumed this was the child recorded in the 1841 and 1851 censuses as Sarah WELLS, daughter of William and Ann WELLS.
