I have recently received a death certificate for John Henry GILBERT ( a relative). He died in 8 Oct 1937 as the result of a road accident on Great North Road, Cromwell Notts I would welcome help on how to find any news reports of this tragedy. He was 68 and not long widowed. I also wonder if it is possible to get details of the Inquest? it was held 11 Oct 1937. The deputy Coroner's name looks like W H Franks Borough of Newark .The death was in General hospital Newark. The accident was on Oct 3rd. The death certificate even tells us who was driving the motor that knocked John Henry down ! It was a Gerald TEAL. Glad of any guidance on this search.
