Hi all, I am sure that someone on this list was a great help in this MARSH family of mine some years ago. I start with Henry Marsh. b. c 1816. He married Elizabeth either HEMSTOCK or BROWN in the 4th Quarter 1837. Anyone know which? I may have to buy the cert! In 1861 Henry and his wife were living in Lidget Lane Moorgate with three of his children, one of whom was Hannah aged 19. Also living with the family was Clara A. Marsh, shown as grand daughter in the census.Who are her parents? I am presently trying to discover if this is the same Clara living in Islington in 1911, shown as a grocer. My grandmother( orphaned early in life) had an Aunt Clara and was living in Islington with the Aun.Clara. Just in addition, grandson James joined Clara with Henry and Elizabeth in 1871, no sign of Hannah, but daughter Elizabeth aged 19 was still living at home. Any help gratefully received.
