Hi Barbara, Did you just read the transcript or actually view the page? The reason I am asking is that on another list I am on someone found details of her ancestor on the page that hadn't been detailed in the transcription. Her female relative is head of household but she also listed on the page that her husband was in prison and where he was. This additional detail was crossed through (probably by the enumerator) and did not appear in the transcription details. Not suggesting at all that your ancestor was in prison :) but he may have been elsewhere and his wife may have noted that. Worth a look.
