    1. [NTT] Institute ( Peachy Street ) help please,
    2. There is a Peachey Street, off Mansfield Road near the Victoria Centre in Nottingham. Happy New Year to all David in Ilkeston In a message dated 04/01/2009 12:06:50 GMT Standard Time, bnbinns@gmail.com writes: Peach Street was in the Narrow Marsh area, demolished in the 1930's. To the best of my knowledge there is/was no Peachy Street. The number quoted would not be a phone number, what few phones there were would have only had 3 digit numbers at the very most. Could it be a map grid reference? Try this link below for info on Peach Street, though it doesn't help you find your "institute". Have you tried the 1901 census? We have what we think is a phone number 391011 Peachy Street ( or could be a street address 391D11 Peachy Street ). Its possible it was a Institute for the blind or a Institute Bill's Dad may have attended ?. Your help and guidance would be very much appreciated. Cheers for now, Pat and Bill Notts Surname List http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~hughw/notts.html ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to NOTTSGEN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message Notts Surname List http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~hughw/notts.html ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to NOTTSGEN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    3. You are absolutely correct David, I was incorrectly searching for Peachy Street, not Peachey Street. I have found it on the Historical Directories website www.historicaldirectories.org and there are 3 possibilities. No. 1 Peachey Street - Baptist Tabernacle Sunday School/Nottingham Zionist Social Club No. 2 Peachey Street - Cobden Hall - Christian Spiritualists Lecture Room No. 4 Peachey Street - Cobden Social Club (T.Stubbs, manager) Brian Binns -----Original Message----- From: nottsgen-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:nottsgen-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Ddgretton@aol.com Sent: 04 January 2009 12:13 To: NOTTSGEN-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [NTT] Institute ( Peachy Street ) help please, There is a Peachey Street, off Mansfield Road near the Victoria Centre in Nottingham.
