Joan, It was in New Radford running parallel to and between Independent Street and Mitchell Street. It is still on my 1960's map of Nottingham, but has been demolished I would guess - I don't go into that area at all now. I have googled at length but can find nothing at all. I have also checked my old maps and the old streets list but to no avail. The address is Auckland Street Nottingham and the ED number is 27. I suppose there is a way through the census sheets but I have not managed that either. Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Joan My aunt used to live on Mitchell Street which was demolished many years ago. The general area was razed to the ground and new housing and flats were built, so I think the street you are interested in is very unlikely to be there now. Aileen
