Hi everyone, I've been struggling to find my MANN family before 1830 for many years now. Rechecking some notes I made of the above, I find a Hannah Mann died aged 88 in the grave with my known ancestors. Can I therefore assume that she was an ancestor. I have since found her on several censuses 1851 1861 living as a widow in Plumtree Hospital. On 1841 she is living with William Mann in St Mary's. I'm desperately hoping she might be the grandmother of my 2 times gt grandfather born ca 1830, though I can't trace his baptism anywhere. 2 queries. I've tried searching web for Plumtree but can't find anything re hospital beyond the Middle Ages. Does anyone know of any records relating to it? Records of purchase of graves in Gemeral Cemetery- does anyone know of anything beyond lists of burials? Hope someone can help and advise me best wishes Joyce
