Hello List Does anyone have information on the CHARLES GODFREY family. Charles was the son of Peter and Dorothy Learad Godfrey of East Retford Nottinghamshire. The I.G.I. says he died in 1892 but as I can find no record of death I am assuming that he immigrated with his family about 1850 and died in America? Has anyone a connection to the Learad/Godfrey family from East Retford or the Dalton family from Worksop. Would be most grateful for any crumbs of information. There is a family in Kentucky in the 1880 Census. Could this be where they went to???? Verna .
