Hi Sharon, Thoresby Hall not far from Edwinstowe is the home of the Manvers Family, all very posh. I once went there about 40 years ago to render a small service to the Dowager Countess Manvers,who was the widow of a cavalry officer killed in the first world war so I was led to believe.
