Good Morning from Canada, We very much appreciate all the wonderful help which we have received on this quest . We now find Peachey Street and were thinking it may well be Cobden Hall, that would be the note in our new treasure of a booklet that was passed down to us. If I'm reading Google right. Cobden Hall was a " Mason Hall ". which Bill's Dad we know was a Mason. I will look into it all more. Thank you all so kindly Pat, Pete, David and Brian. We very much appreciate the sites you have shared with us also. Cheers for now, Pat and Bill ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brian Binns" <bnbinns@gmail.com> To: <Ddgretton@aol.com>; <NOTTSGEN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, January 04, 2009 5:24 AM Subject: Re: [NTT] Institute ( Peachy Street ) help please, > > You are absolutely correct David, I was incorrectly searching for Peachy > Street, not Peachey Street. > > I have found it on the Historical Directories website > www.historicaldirectories.org and there are 3 possibilities. > > No. 1 Peachey Street - Baptist Tabernacle Sunday School/Nottingham Zionist > Social Club > > No. 2 Peachey Street - Cobden Hall - Christian Spiritualists Lecture Room > > No. 4 Peachey Street - Cobden Social Club (T.Stubbs, manager) > > Brian Binns > > -----Original Message----- > From: nottsgen-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:nottsgen-bounces@rootsweb.com] > On Behalf Of Ddgretton@aol.com > Sent: 04 January 2009 12:13 > To: NOTTSGEN-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: [NTT] Institute ( Peachy Street ) help please, > There is a Peachey Street, off Mansfield Road near the Victoria Centre in > Nottingham. > > Happy New Year to all > > David in Ilkeston
