A big thank you to everyone who has replied to my question about Nathaniel (and for the interesting discussion about birth and baptism records). It looks as if poor Nathaniel died in 1760 so that he wasn't my ancestor who married and died in London. However I'll do a bit more investigating of the Nottingham family before I decide they definitely aren't mine. Best wishes Angela
