Jeanette, They may exist, but it doesn't look like they have been Indexed by Family Search or put on the Notts FHS CD. Just a correction to John's note. The Hugh Wallis site suggests that the 1609-1830 records are only for marriages. But you could use them for all Brentnall marriages which would give you some clues. Nevertheless, I'd try the new Family Search site again. They are putting on so many new records it's hard to keep up. If that fails you might check the Family Search catalogue and see if they are on microfiche and can be ordered. Otherwise, go to Notts Archives and see where they are stored. You might have to take a trip to Nottingham. Peter
In case there is any confusion - Huw WALLIS provides an indication as to which registers have been included in the IGI The Family History Library Catalogue shows what has been filmed and is available at LDS Family History Centres and this clearly shows the following for GREASLEY Baptisms, marriages & burials 1601 - 1812 Film 503497 Baptisms, marriages & buials 1813 - 1830 Film 504514 John M ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter R Booth" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, January 29, 2012 5:18 AM Subject: Re: [NTT] Parish registers for Nottingham 1600-1700s (baptisms) > Jeanette, > > They may exist, but it doesn't look like they have been Indexed by > Family Search or put on the Notts FHS CD. > > Just a correction to John's note.
