Can anyone tell me where Crown Yard Radford was? My GGrandfather lived there in 1882 and my Grandfather William Allen Harrison was born there in that year. David Harrison
David, On the 1891 census the family is living on Forster Street, Radford, and from this I can determine the name of your GGrandfather, which you didn't give in your request. He is William Harrison aged 35, hence born 1856. If you search on the 1881 census, which if you haven't got access to any of the subscription sites, is free on the LDS site, then you will find the family, this time with William's first wife, on Terrace Street, which is in Hyson Green. I don't have a large enough scale map to tell you where Crown Court was, but given that many children were born at a relative's house, especially a grandparent, then the place where the family was living may not indicate the birthplace.
