Vaughn, I have a copy, and one of the supplement that was also issued, but sadly I do not want to part with them. If all else fails I will do look-ups for you on my copies. I'm flattered to see that this link led to a previous reply from me. Parkinson Street ran from Trent Street parallel to and on the City side of to Station Street and was, needless to say, part of the Boots site in central Nottingham. Just seeing if the double spacing has stopped I hope so - it's driving me mad!! Right see what happens! _________________________________________________________________ Check out the new and improved services from Windows Live. Learn more! http://clk.atdmt.com/UKM/go/132630768/direct/01/
Have you accidentally turned on double line spacing? To find out, (and correct) highlight the text in your document, right click. You will find copy/paste and paragraph, click paragraph where you will also find line spacing. Sometimes I have found it on format - paragraph - line spacing You can have normal one and a half or two. If it shows you are on two, just return the marker to one and click ok! Hi List My sister in law would like the certificate for a John TOWLE. We have been trying for a couple of years to get it but ones we ordered are not whom we are seeking. I had contact with a person who gave me this information but have lost contact with them: John TOWLE died 10 Aug 1856 of a Scrofulous Abscess. Death Certificate states husband of Lydia and his age is 47 on certificate. (He is 37 in 1841)? Should be 52 on death certificate. Is there a record on the Death CD for this person? If someone can check for me please I will be most happy. Thank you Doreen
Hello Julia, Some of the Basford Parish Register info has been transcribed by FreeREG, but the index doesn't show what dates have been done. I couldn't locate your Jane MORRIS. There are other children in the family who have been transcribed though - Children baptised at St Leodegarius-Basford, with parents Thomas and Elizabeth MORRIS - 3 September 1828, Mary Ann Morris (father a schoolmaster) 3 January 1830, Sophia Morris (father a miller) 9 January 1831, Mary Matilda Morris (miller) 12 February 1832, Eliza Morris (miller) 30 June 1833, Thomas James Morris (miller) 7 July 1836, Elizabeth Ann Morris (miller) On the IGI there are these children for this couple who were baptised at Basford - 28 November 1819, John Smith Morris (parents: Thomas and Mary Morris - previous marriage maybe?) 3 September 1828, Mary Ann Morris 3 January 1830, Sophia Morris 9 January 1831, Mary Matilda Morris Sorry I couldn't help further, but with luck FreeREG will continue their wonderful work and you will find a baptism for Jane MORRIS. Cheers Trish Nowra NSW > If anyone is able to look up the birth of Jane Morris in 1843-44 in > Basford it would be very greatly appreciated. > Her father is listed as Thomas Morris a miller on her marriage certificate > but I can not find any registry listing for her so I thought parish > records may be the place to turn.
