I am trying to sort through and document my Norwood ancestry. In the book "The Thigpen Tribe by Alice W Smith, it gives Nathaniel Norwood, son of George and grandson of William Norwood the immigrant having been married to a Sarah Matthews d/o John Matthews and Mary Stephenson. It gives their daughter Sarah Norwood being married to Joshua Thigpen s/o: Dr James Thigpen and Elizabeth Lawrence. I find on the Norwood family website that Nathaniel Norwood, son of George and grandson of William the immigrant was married to a Mary and that their daughter Sarah Norwood was married to an unknown Parrot.
