Hi Hugh, Also, there are many lines of Norwoods in Kent, Buckinghamshire, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, and other counties, who could be a source of your Norwoods. I've gotten a lot of help looking in the National Archives UK and British History Online as well as Ancestry.com. If I can help with your search, I'd be happy to do so. You might think about y-dna testing also. Let me know if you are interested in more information about it. Look at the link below my name and visit. The more participants we have, the more genetic genealogy will begin to help us in our conventional genealogical research. It has already opened up some new possibilities for solving mysteries and has confirmed some of our research of Norwood families. We really need more participants from the British Isles.
