    3. Happy New Year! Just thought I'd drop everyone a note to let you all know that I updated the web site today. Nothing really earth-shattering to report but I did go through most of the family pages under Nebraska and the Mid-Atlantic Colonies/States to add some dates and locations where I'd found them. As always, those pages with major changes have been marked as new on the index pages. NEBRASKA Updated info on Phebe, Richard, Sally, Frances I thought I'd already updated the page for George W. Norwood with the info I'd received from the family plus what I'd been able to further research, but apparently it never made it to the web site. Hopefully, the upload should now agree with what my database shows. MID-ATLANTIC Added info on Alice Updated info on Richard, Cornelius, Elizabeth, Anna For awhile now I've been dissatisfied with the display of some of the info on the web site. This would include mostly those pages that contain Norwood info that is known not to be related to our family line or those that may be related but for whom a concrete connection has yet to be found. So I've decided to try something else. Today I started putting some of the info I have gathered over the years on to the WorldConnect Project on rootsweb.com. I'll be proceeding slowly to see how I like working with this system, so don't be looking for a complete dump of any of my databases. But I'm hoping that I'll like this method better as a means of eventual dissemination for the majority of the info in at least one of my databases. The first family I've decided to add to the project is for the Andrew Norwood we find in Illinois in the late 1800s who was born in New Jersey. This is a very small family grouping of only 15 people but I felt it a good starting point. I believe this family to be connected to one of the larger New Jersey based trees I'm researching, I just haven't figured out which one yet. Since the project is reported to reach a great number of people every week, I'm hoping that we can find an actual descendant with the missing info we need to connect this Andrew to his family line. I've also been spending a great deal of time lately gathering info on the Andrew S. Norwood line. This has resulted in a gen report that I think may be too unwieldy to put on a single web page anymore. At first I thought about breaking it up into separate pages but the time that would take for updates just doesn't appear to be workable. I feel it's just taking me too long to get this info out to the people who want to work with it further. I'm now thinking along the lines of a combined effect between a web page and the WorldConnect Project. Stay tuned for further developments on this. TAFN!
