Searching for information on Moses Norwood b. aft. 1770, Northampton, NC. d. abt. 1837, Northampton , NC. who would be the son of George Norwood. Possibly married more than once. We have seen spouse's named Jincey, Penelope and Tabitha? Cannot verify any of the three. Found a Moses Norwood on the 1800 Northampton BC Census, living alone. Lived near George, Leland, and Joseph in Halifax, Northampton Co., NC. 1810 Census enumerates a Moses with a spouse and one child, living near Samuel, Leland, Tabitha and Burwell Norwood. 1820 Census enumerates Moses in same area with spouse and 5 children living near Tabitha, Samuel and Leland Norwood. Have not located Moses on the 1830 Census, even though have seen his death listed as 1837 by other researchers? Is anyone out there researching this individual? Does anyone know of a Will or any other documents that might relate to Moses Norwood and/or his family? Will appreciate ANY help of suggestions you might have.
