Thomas Norwood born abt. 1844 in Tennessee. Moses born abt. 1846 in Tennessee, were the son's of Peter A. Norwood and wife ( unknown) Peter A. Norwood had migrated from Northampton, NC into Tennessee with his sister, Mary E. Norwood and her husband John Mangum Branch. It is not known if Peter married while in NC or if he married in TN. Peter and Mary E. Norwood are the children of Moses Norwood and Penelope. Thomas and Moses, the son's were raised by Mary E. Norwood Branch and her husband John Mangum Branch. Peter A. Norwood would marry the second time to Eliza Johnson. They spent the rest of their life in Panola County, MS Peter died in 1872 and is buried in Terza Methodist Church Cemetery. Eliza and her two eldest children would sell the farm and move the entire family to Arkansas. Two sons, William Mack Norwood and Dan Richard Norwood will return to Panola County and spend their life there. I am seeking ANY information on Thomas and Moses Norwood.
