    1. RE: trying again
    2. Jackie Morgan
    3. You know I am not sure. My James R. BRYAN married Martha Norwood in Dekalb Co., AL. I had to pull the book out to check on Samuel. I have down that her father was Samuel. Her mother was Pernicia Fatima Home. She had a sister, Sara, that married James R. BRYAN's son, Joel P. BRYAN. Martha is supposed to have been born in about 1837 in GA according to the 1870 census for Jackson Co., GA, but they were married in Dekalb Co. according to marriage record filed in Dekalb Co., GA. This is not a direct line, but there were supposed to be two children that would still be my line. Does this sound familiar? Am trying to find out where they went. I have nothing on them after the 1870 census. Thanks. Now that there is some new activity on the list, I thought I would try again Here is my Norwood connection. My gggrandmother was Winney NORWOOD, born 1815 in GA. She married first, Joseph CROOK in 1832, in Carroll County GA, then John PONDER in 1845. They are found in the 1850 and 1860 census of Gordon County GA. In the 1860 census, there was living in the same house, Elizabeth NORWOOD, 68 yrs, who I believe was Winney's mother. I also believe that Samuel NORWOOD, found in Carroll County GA in 1830 and 1840 census, is her father. I would certainly like to find some connection out there in cyberspace. If you think you might be a cousin, PLEASE, write me. Diane Bingham
