I'm sorry to see you've been subjected to such childishness, unfortunately it exists everywhere in life so of course it would have to be occasionally encountered on the internet. I hope you won't hold the actions of one against everyone else on what is normally a great list that would like to benefit from your years of research. As in all cases such as this, if you have kill-file availability than that's where this person would belong, if you don't, just delete his messages unread and save yourself some grief. BTW, should you have the misfortune to run across such silliness resulting from a list in the future, notifying the listowner that he may have a problem subscriber by sending a copy of the email to him/her directly or to the command address for the list is always a good idea. Posting the offending private email to the list itself is considered bad netiquette by some and may result in further emails you really don't want to read either. :) Best of luck!
