Greetings, Not long ago I identified one of my female ancestors as having the maiden name of "Norwood" and I am trying to locate early information about her, her parents and siblings. Delitha P. Norwood was born in North Carolina, USA sometime around 1800 or so. She married William Justice, also of North Carolina. They settled initially in Alabama where most of their children were born. The eldest, David Washington Justice, was born in 1820. They moved to Pontotoc Co, Mississippi in the 1840's and William died there in 1848 (per his probate). Delitha and her children moved on to Texas around 1856/57. She died sometime between 1880 and 1900. I am descended from William & Delitha's son, Francis Marion Justice, his daughter Anna Laura Justice, her son John Marion Hutchins, his daughter Myrtle Marie Hutchins (my mother).
