Greetings Kneel, and to your wife, my cousin - altho the degree of cousinship I don't think I could figure out. It's nice to hear from you. I had no idea you were more than a decade older than me. I thought we were closer to the same age. I'll contact you off-list about your wife's and my mutual ancestor, Joseph Jenckes (the first of three men with the same name, colonial New England immigrant). I don't remember if I wrote to you about the 1652 Pine Tree Shilling from the Boston time capsule. Our first Joseph Jenckes made the dies for the coin, but that wasn't mentioned among the other info that came out about the contents of the time capsule. I have found a couple of books (copyright expired, downloadable for free) that talk about the first American Jenckes ancestor. He was truly a Renaissance man with his various abilities. For those like Barbara from MA who has colonial ancestors (I'm related to her through our mutual Mayflower ancestor), this is what I'm talking about: http://www.history.com/news/contents-of-boston-time-capsule-buried-by-samuel-adams-and-paul-revere-unveiled I'll double check the info on your web site, but I think I might be able to send you additional info on some.
