    3. Hello Judi, Yes this is mostly possible to do research before 1801, although some churchbooks are hard to read. But first we have to know if the people here below mentioned from 1801 census are the right ones. I could not find the wedding in the churchrecords of Peder Pedersen from Furrebø + Massi Odgertsdr And the baptism of Their son Peder Pedersen in 1816 still must be found. I do not know what information is in the bygdebook you have read. Bygdebooks are secondairy information and one must always check this information with the churchrecords. Have I hope this is interpreted correctly according to the 1801 census: 1) Peder Olsen (79) and wife: Alet Odgiersdatter (46 - his 2nd wife) from Tiønneland, Førde parish or Tjønneland), Sogn og Fjordane: or Tiønneland Their son: Peder Pedersen B. 1791 D. 1867 I read somewhere... (I have conflicting birth dates: the 1801 shows he is 4 = B 1797) lived Furbø from Førde? Married: Maasi or Madsi Oddgjertsdtr from Tjønneland age 11 = B 1790? Read another source B 1787? D. 1862 Is there a way to view birth and death records for both? I believe they are my relatives...it is so wonderful, and I understands records are challenging... I am learning...
