    3. Listers - could use some help on this one. I am looking for Martin Iversen, son Iver Gulbrandsen Kingestuen, born May 3, 1866 and Baptized June 17, 1866 in Jevnaker, Oppland. He was to have emigrated: "Bachelor Martin Iversen born 1866 traveled to the United States in 1886 attest 15/3 from Kingeeie in Jevnaker (presteboka). Worker Martin Iversen Kingen traveled to Rothsay in the USA 1886 from Jevnaker, contract date: 25/3, date of travel: 26/3. He would have saled on the Angelo on March 26. He was 20 years old." This would mean either Otter Tail County or Wilkin County, Minnesota. The community of Rothsay straddles the county borders. He had an uncle Ole Gulbrandsen (Gilbertson) at Erhard, Minnesota - less than 20 miles away. He had another uncle, Erik Gulbrandsen (Gilbertson) that emigrated, and arrived in Boston on July 2, 1866 aboard the ship Cephalonia. By 1900 Erik was living in Deerwood, Crow Wing County, Minnesota. He had a brother, Peter Iversen that emigrated Feb 02, 1886 and settled in St. Louis, County. I suspect Martin may have gone to be near his relatives. Carol J. Hansen
