Thank you, Hans! It's good to know the plural for Inderst! I have not seen it before. :-) Yes, after all this time, I do know the difference between Inderst and Husmand. I consider it quiet an accomplishment to finally know some of the finer differences of categories. (I am assuming I'll run into something different in the future and not know what it means.) In the birth record for the third child which I was just looking at, the father is a husmand at yet another farm, however temporary that might have been. Before they emigrated in 1861, they were at yet another farm. I do have a question about the names of the farms that begin with H in this record. I did check for farm names beginning with H in the 1865 census, and I took some wild guesses. I think I have most of the other information correct..., but I'm not at all sure about the farm names beginning with H. Can anyone figure out if I got them correct or if I should change the spelling?
