I have everything in this record except the word before godt in how this girl did in confirmation class. I couldn't see anything in Otto's dictionary that might compare. There's someone else further down the page that has the same words. Can anyone read the word and translate? This poor girl went from her parents home to being a ward of the parish as a pauper, so she had a pretty hard life. Eventually she emigrated to America. Three of her siblings moved to Eidsvold, and while I haven't found an utflytting record, I think Oline made it there, too. It's the only connection to the name Fjeldberg I can find (it's a hospital in Eidsvold), which is what she used as a surname in America. American records have her "from Lillehammer" but neither I nor the person who is connected to her can find a record of her or her family in Lillehammer. Mange takk! Bev
