Dear Jerry and other Listers! Thank you very much, Jerry, for your message which just arrived. However, I am sorry to say, there is no death record for Jens Kins in Buffalo Co., WI in 1901. We know he was alive in 1901, and I believe the source comes from Buffalo Co., WI, but Jens had left many years before… In my manuscript I had a note years ago about this, and someone «picked it up» and published it as a death year in a family tree. Very annoying, but I experience things like that happen all the time… So it remains a «true mystery» when and where Jens and Martha died… Maybe someone could check the cemetery record book for Griggs Co., ND?
