Is there a difference between dairy maid with goats and dairy maid with cows? Because I noticed that there are 2 sets of terms and since I don't speak even one word of Norwegian, I must ask the experts. Dairymaid, well. The ones who worked in the barns and milked the cows, were called "budeie". A "meierske" worked with milk and milk products in a "meieri". Two different terms in Norwegian because these were different tasks. Do you only have "dairymaid" in English?
